Jennifer (2015) is part of a series of works with monastic communities of women, including Sorelle Povere di Santa Chiara, a multi media installation and 16mm film. Jennifer is a documentary portrait of the monastery and of Jennifer, a Carmelite nun. The film unfolds the life of the monastery over the course of one day. It allows the audience into a world of enclosure which is rarely seen from the inside. It was filmed in the Discalced Carmelite monastery in Ronda, Spain.
